That was absolutely brilliant, like, you have no idea. That's my absolute favorite scene from both the book and the episode, and I absolutely love the way you've done it. I love the structure, the repeated "You are their teacher" and the way it wavers when he starts thinking about the Doctor, "That imaginary hero in your mind," which describes it perfectly.

Great job, as usual. John Smith is really Tennant at his best, and I think you do such a great job of exploring that character in a believable, poignant way.
