Today we received our Awards in class. So, yes, I did go look at the kittens again.
I think it causes Scott to worry that I'm going to come home with a kitten.
There is that risk.
Today was interesting. Two significant things happened: first, an ex-boss who used to hire me for side jobs (stained glass stuff) has called to see if I'm available to do a side job. I am. Second, I talked to a fellow student about getting together to discuss whether we would be compatible to collaborate on some writing. I'm fulla words, she's fulla plots, do we like each other's stuff?
There was also one significant thing from yesterday that I didn't mention: I got the balls to send an important letter to my scary cousin, that she may not like to get. So now I'm on tenterhooks, waiting for her response.
It's hard to describe how all this makes me feel. Perhaps "anxious" would work, if you tone down the worried edge a bit. After all, the cousin is states away.
