The end is in sight!
We have only two weeks until the end of the semester---ahhhhh!!!!
Here is what I need to finish before I can hit the lab hard-core and then head to VA for my summer job at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission :)
Actinide Test
Risk Assessment Test
Actinide Preproposal Presentation
Risk Assessment Term Project
Risk Assessment Final
Actinide Final
And I was just lucky enough that both my final exams are on the same day and can't be moved due to university policy...
I interviewed with the Performance Assessment group from the Savannah River Site today--three 20 minute interviews and a seminar. I think it went well and laid some nice groundwork in case I want to work there when I graduate in 2011 (hopefully). And tomorrow I'm leaving at 5:30am to drive to Aiken, SC for an all-day technical seminar on instrumentation. I know it sounds insane (which it is), but I want to get as much exposure to as many people in my field as possible. You never know when some random person you meet at one of these meetings will be a key contact later!
