Sick
I woke up yesterday with a bad bad case if Reisofibo (travel fever), and it's getting crazier and crazier.
On a less nice note, Mati has caught some kind of kid bug, that causes red rashes on her thighs and belly and so on. Poor thing. We brought her to the doc, who said it's a bug, not an allergy or anything, it's very common in spring/summer, doesn't attack adults (yay), and is not painful or itchy. She said since we're not sure what it is, we can't give meds, but it will go away on its own.
Since there is no fever we don't need to give anything at all.
(in France children who have fever or throw up because of a bug are given meds to combat the symptoms, but I read on Imamother in America you don't treat it, and a child may throw up 2, 3, 4 times or more in a day!!!).
Even worse, we planned to go to Israel all together, but my father has a sinusitis and gum aches, and he wants to stay around his top doctors, especially since he has a valve he can't just have an infection and be treated like any person by any doctor, because his body could G-d forbid lo alenu reject the valve. Mom is trying to convince him it's ok to go, but I don't thinks she will manage. He will be able at least to bamboo-sit (we would have brought them to the pharmacist, but since he's there he will be able to water them regularly- if he doesn't forget. Once I left and told him to keep them in the light and water them every day - he forgot and they stayed in the dark, waterless, for weeks. When I came back, they were half dead.).
