We visited again the apartment today. It's so great. Mati loved it too.
Too bad we need to ask the owner before changing the wallpaper. There are weird little kiddy bears in our room! not classy!
We went at the mall and it was full of yidden, many visibly frum (more than in a Tel Aviv canyon ;) ), or visibly traditional (like with a big necklace with Jewish letters).
Kippa, hat, cap, beret. Payes tucked in, in front, long. Sheitel, half sheitel, beret, snood, snood-beret, hat, tichel.
The kosher aisle of the (non Jewish) supermarket is huge. Some products are cheaper than by the kosher shops (with hechsher and definitely hechsherless). I was told for Pessach they have another Pessachdik aisle in the supermarket!
