shall i enumerate all the weird/good things that have occurred in my vicinity in the past few days? yes, i think i shall. without the actual numeration.
-i stressedstressedstressed about getting my homework done wednesday... and didnt end up having to turn it in. score. plus i got free lunch that day. score again. (and free breakfast actually, since i'm the only one who will re-heat stale bagels)
-i went out with a cool group of kids from my grad class wednesday night. out with people my age, yesss. enjoyed the company, found cool connections, heard old classic club songs that reminded me of multiple good times. (baby got back = lee grabbing my butt during senior year homecoming)
-i way overtipped the cabbie coming home. i enjoy this.
-i was asked out to dinner. yay:)
-i went (permittedly) into work late thursday morning, received multiple armfulls of roses from the cute (in an old way) guy at the flower store across the street, had a goooood sammich from java green, and got free chocolate from multiple sources.
-i was amused by office drama. enough said.
-i had a good night last night. it was a little weird. (not like that.) details pending.
-i overtipped the cabbie again. i gotta stop doing that.
-i've spent most of my free time the past few days restaurant-shopping. best. thing. ever.
-i went to another meeting on the hill today, was appropriately awe-struck by the oppulance, loved it. oh, and looked cute too.
-i was offerred a job at the office, or at any other firm that they have connections with, for next summer. score.
-i went on a mad flashlight-hunt for my boss this afternoon. amusing.
-i caught the bus just on time tonight, but in the process ran into two out-of-town guys who had no change. i gave them money, they were appreciative. i may have been encouraged by the uncanny resemblance one of them bore to josh. who may or may not read this. anyway.
i laughed a lot this week, mostly at myself. but it was fun.
