Thank you SO MUCH IRS and USPS for screwing me out of $2500 this year! I hope you both go bankrupt and are disbanded along with the rest of the inefficient parts of the government.
The people who run the USPS FaceBook page are idiots. If I worked for the USPS, I wouldn't want to be affiliated with those morons in any way, shape, or form. Just sayin'.
Chick who owes me because she said she'd pay for her brother buying my trailer but never actually giving me the money: yeah screw you too for not answering the phone or returning my calls. I KNOW you got your return, the least you could do is make good on your word. Looks like I'll be filing for lost title and talking to and collecting rent from whomever lives there now, since your worthless brother never did send off the title and put it in his name.
Next stop is Motaku, although I'm not making any definite plans since I likely won't have any money. I need to renew my license plates in August :( If I do happen to make it, I'll probably be cosplaying Havoc and Turk since I won't get to at AFW and some of my group will be there. I'm also putting together a Luxord cosplay since they want to do Kingdom Hearts. After drawing one side of one of his cards by hand, I've decided to be lazy and print off his cards instead. It came out awesome but was a pain in the ass. I need five of them to get the look I want for his weapon prop. I also made a pair of paper dice and they came out really well, but I need to figure out a way to transfer the design to card stock or at least something more rigid than graph paper. I wouldn't mind them being a tiny bit bigger too.
Con schedule looking more like this:
August - Motaku, Kansas City, MO
Cosplaying: Jean Havoc (spoiler version), Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood; Luxord, Kingdom Hearts 2; maybe Player E / Female Fist Fighter, Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis
September - Glitchcon, Bentonville, AR
Cosplaying: "generic Yeoman in Red", original StarTrek (Uhura's outfit); Steampunk something; bringing Havoc's uniform along for another autograph (Archer), but probably not wearing it just because I don't want to risk something bad happening.
September - Archon, St. Louis, MO (tentative, refuse to go alone but almost too good to pass up)
Cosplaying: Ukitake Jushiro, Bleach; Yeoman Red: original Star Trek; taking uniform Havoc along for another autograph (Hughes this time!)
October - Yaoi-Con, San Francisco, CA (Or as my mom calls it, Sodom and Gomorrah. I'd LOVE to go, but probably won't be able to)
Wishful thinking: Denmark, Prussia (succession war version), and Germany (chess version. Again, if I have it done by then. Have you SEEN this art? <3). I'd be going with a huge group of SoCal Hetalia cosplayers
November - Youmacon Detroit, MI (Hopefully all this tax return bullshit will be figured out by then)
Cosplaying: Jean Havoc (covert ops version), Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood; Germany (black SS uniform minus obvious Nazi symbols, making an SS Prussia for my friend as well), Hetalia: Axis Powers; Grimmjow Jaegerjaques, Bleach
- NEXT YEAR (all tentative, have to wait and see who's going first) -
February - Naka-Kon - Kansas City, MO
Cosplaying: Sailor Uranus: Sailor Moon and probably Turk, and whatever wasn't debuted in 2011. I've got a few.
March - Kawa Kon - St, Louis, MO
Maybe. I'm still leery of STL.
June - Anime Springfield - Springfield, MO
Their first year, gonna go support. No cosplays planned just yet, will probably pull out another undebuted one.
June - Colossal Con (otherwise known as BIRTHDAY-CON!) - Sandusky, OH. This is my planned big summer con for 2012. What better way to celebrate joining the "middle-aged" crowd!
Cosplaying: Probably Havoc and Grimmjow, maybe even that chess Germany that I'd kill to be able to wear to Yaoi-Con (but most likely won't be able to go).
July - Anime Festival Wichita - Wichita, KS. Gonna try again, but no guarantees.
Cosplaying: Probably my usual AFW line-up. Havoc and Turk, and whatever random third for the group.
