Why is it that guys cant resist trading anything they have for a newer version? It's disgusting and rediculous and cruel when it comes to their girlfriends.

I dated a guy that dumped me a couple times. Shortly after those break ups the guy was involved with other girls for a little while, and for some reason i went back out with him...always having this little feeling inside like i wasnt good enough because he had to break up with me and go fool around with other girls. but i realize now it has nothing to do with me. its his jerkyness that makes him that way and some guys sadly just cant help it.
Rachel dated her boyfriend (who will remain nameless) for a year. That is a LONG time i would say. Suddenly towards the end of this school year it seemed as if her "significant other" had lost interest in her. A random and cruel reality but the truth none the less. This boy never gave any sort of notion as to why the spark was gone, but did insert a few hurtful words here and there.
Another friend who has been dating a guy for over a year recently told me about her situation. Her boyfriend stopped returning her phone calls and she found out from a mutual friend about him driving some other girl to work. He also told this mutual friend that he and my friend had broken up. Well my friend knew nothing of this, and when she asked him about it, he simply confessed and that was all. No apology, no nothing. Over a year to waste for nothing. He told her "he didnt want a relationship"...whatever buddy.
I mean at least let there be a fight or something. Dont just dump a girl cuz you're bored of her, its just NOT RIGHT.
But that's just how guys are. Like literally and scientifically. Their stupid animal nature leads them to believe they need to spread their seed to as many females as possible...
...or something gay like that.
but guys need to stop behaving like animals and treat girls humanely.
no wonder its always the girl that gets crushed...we know it always seems like the guy doesnt give a damn, yet we always hope he actually does.
In my opinion, we need to stop hoping...there's no hope.
We just need to get used to human nature.
