I was watching the blasts in the Middle East on tv and i don't really know quite what to say. Is there a way to rescue everything? Do they have to help themselves, or is it a global effort? For the most part i am an unaffected young adult living in one of the safest countries on earth; unbothered by politics or any of the worldly concerns unless 'provoked'. Everytime we watch a film like the one speared by Al Gore, the whole nation rallies together and we talk, blog, discuss, bitch, champion, do anything because it makes us think. And then when we watch the BBC or read the national paper, we start getting all agitated and write in to forums. A month later, we all go back to putting coffee on and minding ourselves with the most petty of situations. No, No?
"What can i do for the ozone layer if it's now noon, and i am tasked to think of a place for lunch? Sushi anyone?"
But i am most definitely generalising. We are small creatures alone but it is also true that many small grains make a huge sack of rice.
