no easy task/ roof over head

as the sun falls
the distance grows
seeps in so fast
i stumble
as the questions
flow rapidly
toward my ears
hold back
keep in
the ablitly
to stay stable
until i realize
its not worth it anymore
there is more than
those eyes see
more than
they choose to see
so i stand strong
against this current
remembering all
that i have held up
and all that i stand for
to remind me that
i am who
i want to be
all i have to do is
keep these walls standing
