Kingdom Hearts Map Card FAQ
-----

The in-game descriptions of the room cards leave a lot to be guessed, so here's a list with a bit more detail. I was really hoping to find some of this info on the internet when I'd just started out the game, but we couldn't find it, so here it is. Feel free to link/repost/etc.

ROOM CARDS:

Tranquil Darkness -- A small room that has relatively few Heartless in it.

Teeming Darkness -- A big room with more Heartless than average in it. Enemy card drops are more frequent in this room.

Almighty Darkness -- In battle, the cards the Heartless play against you will have +2 to their numbers. Their cards show the new values with +2 already added. Enemy card drops are more frequent in this room.

Sleeping Darkness -- Heartless will all be asleep on the field, until you start a battle. They will wake up as soon as the battle starts.

Looming Darkness -- A flat room full of traps, where the Heartless on the field seem eager to run up and headbutt you as soon as they see you, thereby getting the initiative in battle. Enemy card drops are more frequent in this room.

Premium Room -- Heartless will often drop P-cards; collecting one of these will turn one of your normal cards into a Premium Card after the battle. The card is selected by a slowly-spinning wheel that you stop yourself.
Heartless: **

White Room -- These rooms have White Fungi for enemies. They won't attack you, and if you cast helpful spells on them at the right time (watch their animations), they might give you a nice prize. Although the room is supposed to have no other enemies, the barrels may still contain surprise Heartless barrel-spiders.

Black Room -- These rooms have Black Fungi for enemies. They are poisonous fungi enemies that attack you. Although the room is supposed to have no other enemies, the barrels may still contain surprise Heartless barrel-spiders.

Bottomless Darkness -- The room is a long, dark hallway filled with Heartless that can only be spotted by their glowing yellow eyes. Battles, however, are normal.

Roulette Room -- At the end of battle, you get to select a new map card via a slowly-spinning wheel that you stop yourself.

Random Joker -- Can be used to substitute for any criterion to enter a room except a keycard. However, one Random Joker will only fill one criterion (e.g. if the room criteria were 5= + 8= + keycard and you didn't have either the 5 or the 8, you would have to use two Random Jokers plus a keycard to enter). If used for a normal room, it will generate a room randomly.

Room Size: N/A

Key cards -- A room where untold stories become told, and then they're old. AKA plot room with potential boss. The attributes of the cards you use to make these rooms don't affect the bosses.
Heartless: N/A
Room Size: N/A

Room of Rewards -- Each world has a special treasure room that requires a Room of Rewards card, along with other cards, to unlock. If you open a Room of Rewards, leave the world, and come back to that world later on, then you will need to use up another Room of Rewards card to re-open the door, but the chest will only contain a random card rather than a new treasure.
