The translator for Ace Attorney: Investigations, while generally pretty good, has just made a pretty big flub.

A wealthy Borginian passenger attempts to accuse Edgeworth of being "insolent", but, since he uses imperfect English, he calls him "insolvent". Edgeworth then makes fun of this slip, saying he doesn't think that he dissolves in water.

Unfortunately, that's not what it means to call someone "insolvent". Doubly-unfortunately, Edgeworth has just been accused of stealing money. Triply-unfortunately, it's a legal term, so you'd think he'd know.

Whoops.
