Back in the saddle
wow, so I've been out of lj-land for a while.
1. Thanksgiving was great. I got to see my family, my mom's side got to meet Charmane. Saw my aunts and cousins. It was a good time. I ate A LOT.
2. The weekend was fantastic too. Charmane and I decided to go bowling on Saturday. We bought pitchers of beer and sent out texts to friends to see if they wanted to come. It's funny how some of my friends really expected us to wait for them. "Oh, well, how about we make it for tomorrow?" or "oh, I'm busy, can we push it back a little?" Um, no no. WE'RE going bowling. YOU'RE welcome to join us. My friend Andre and his cousin did end up joining us later and played a couple rounds. They must really suck because I managed to come in 2nd place both times.
3. Sunday I got strept throat and stayed sick until...well, I'm not feeling that well today. But I came back to work because I'm not contagious anymore. I'm just weak, I have very little appetite today, but I ate like a horse yesterday. Housed half a pizza with no problem. Then today I've eaten two bites of oatmeal. go fig.
4. Work is piled up, just like I feared. My voicemail may be full and I have 43 unread emails. Oh joy.
