He's covering for Steve while he's out this week. The letter was a woman writing about how her brother-in-law kept saying inappropriate things to her about pornos and asking if she masturbated and really out of line things to her and she wondered if she should tell her sister or just leave it alone so she wouldn't disrupt the family. She told their mother though and she was disturbed and I guess treats the man differently. To back this up, the writer said that she never flirted with the man and she's a lesbian, everyone in the family knows that she's a lesbian so it was coming out of left field for her. Steven A. Smith said that she must've flirted in some way since he's saying this to her and the fact that she won't tell her sister but still tells her mom is just proof of that. I was like, um... hold up now. I get hit on all the time by dudes when I don't want it. and i'd probably walk on eggshells with that issue too because I wouldn't want my sister accusing me of the same thing that this dude just did. I really think he missed the mark on that one.

NOT to defend him...but you know how SOME guys (okay, A LOT of guys) are. They simply can not fathom or understand the idea of a woman who does NOT want a man, or even just the dick, in her life. Like, that is a completely foreign concept to them...like, "What do you mean you don't want dick?"....even after you THOROUGHLY explain that you ONLY like women. Some of those men feel as though they can "convert" the lesbian...as if she's only a lesbian cuz of some stupid shit a dude did back in the days. So, Steven A. Smith MIGHT be one of those types who really could not comprehend that a) the B-I-L is a sexist ass who really DOES have this type of thinking and b) she could have a full-fledged lesbian orgy right in front of the b-i-l and dude would STILL try to flirt...

exactly. I mean to me there was no code to crack. This dude is a DOUCHEBAG who's hitting on his wife's sister, but we all know how women will defend their men to the death even if God himself comes down from heaven and says this man is no good. Steven A. Smith completely came off to me like one of those "there's no such thing as lesbians" guys with that. did not set right. I'll still give him another chance tomorrow though since you all say he's good peoples.
