THIS SJM CHANNEL V THING IS THE SHIT MAN i cried laughing. :DDDD
so basically they were having a 'chinese lesson' of sorts, split into two teams: henry, ryeowook, donghae and sungmin in one team and zhoumi, kyuhyun, siwon and eunhyuk in the other. so ryeowook and henry, and eunhyuk and siwon were picked to do the first challenge, which was to pick a board which had a sjm member name on it in chinese, and read it out. it went something like this:
sungmin: oh.. it's the beginner's challenge? okay um /pushes henry back to his seat 我我我 (ME ME ME)
eunhyuk: oh.. it's the beginner's challenge? /walks back to qmi and gestures to mi to get up 周觅周觅 (zhou mi zhou mi)
(they pick boards and start to read off; siwon has zhoumi's and reads it without difficulty, and it's hyuk's turn)
eunhyuk: ????
sungmin: ehhhh, shouldn't it be this way? /rotates hyuk's board (hyuk was holding it upside down before lolol)
eunhyuk: ahhh! /acts like he knows /puts the board up to sungmin's face 不是不是 (not you)
(he does this for wook and hae and then when he reaches siwon the shibrows attack)
eunhyuk: ahhhh, 始源! (siwon)
(sungmin has his own name and reads it happily, ryeowook holds up the reverse side of his board which is covered in purple paper)
ryeowook: 我喜欢紫色 (i like purple), 我不变态 (i am not a pervert)
(loool idek, he then flips to the proper side of his board which says donghae)
ryeowook: 很帅！ (very handsome)
(donghae looks on approvingly)
they were also supposed to say a line of that chinese poem that kyu always says, 众里寻他千百度 蓦然回首 那人却在灯火阑珊处 (looking for the one a hundred thousand times in a crowd, but when you turn back, he/she's actually in the lights i.e. just nearby). they had a board with these chinese words on it and kyu read it, but clearly from memory and not because he was reading the words lol. so its hyuk's turn:
eunhyuk: asl;dkfjaskldfasdklfadf
kyuhyun: 众里寻他千百度 蓦然回首 那人却在灯火阑珊处
eunhyuk: a;sdkjfasldkfjadlkfajsdlkfadf (with a slightly greater emphasis on intonation)
donghae: 梦中轻人们 (lol idek it's just random chinese words strung together, i think he's just saying whatever chinese he knows)
host: what is donghae saying? do you want kyuhyun to read it once again?
donghae: O.O is kyuhyun reading it correct? (everybody: yes) SERIOUSLY?
(hae gives up, sungmin is told to try, so kyu reads it again and after kyu finishes just half of the line min is going nuts, he lets out a cry of helplessness)
sungmin: 众里寻....... 很难 (very hard)
they then progress to the advanced class where they are supposed to introduce a member from their respective teams. so it's qmi vs henwook (lol the producers must read fic) and mi is supposed to introduce kyu for 30s, and vice versa, etc.
kyuhyun: 我我 - 我还没知道他 (i - i - i still don't know him)
(this earns kyu a friendly slap on the back by mi, but mi still says a loooongggg string of words (haha his mouth moves faster than a machine gun, what can i say) about how kyu is really good at chinese, really good at singing, handsome, though not as handsome as mi himself, and really, really good at chinese, best member in sjm. henry panics a little and says ryeowook is born in '76, and pauses for a while so wook has to prompt him, with words like handsome, cook, and henry ends with "he loves 公保鸡丁 (chinese dish)"! and ryeowook nods approvingly. then it's kyu's turn)
kyuhyun: oh... 他... 不好说 (it's not easy to talk about zhoumi) 因为... 是坏人 (because he's a bad guy).
(again another slap on the shoulder by mi, then kyu starts, actually very fluently, i was rather shocked)
kyuhyun: this is our sjm member zhoumi, when he's in korea we call him "jumyuk" (?), and his favorite thing is to make telephone (he said 做电话, and zhoumi corrected him with 打电话, or make calls). his build is very long (loool should've been 高, tall) and he's a weird person. he also likes to buy things (siwon prompts him to say this point)
ryeowook (much less fluently, but very adorably): this is henry, everyday he doesn't like to take showers, so he's very dirty. also very handsome. he likes xiaolongbao, fruits, stinky tofu (a taiwanese dish). and is very... (/gestures to henry's arms) asdlfasldkfj (bunch of idek what chinese words) long!
hyuk also taught the host, who is like a total dance idiot (adorably so though), and he was super determined to have the host get it right, it took like 10 tries. there's the second half tomorrow where they play more games to get to eat taiwanese street food yay! this is the reality i wanted, not that borefest of happy dictionary. ;~;
mimi is looking fine as hell in his red hair, by the way. and eunhae are fly as usual.
