Insanely Beautiful Weather
The past week here has been insanely gorgeous and totally unlike Cleveland in early Spring. Instead of snow and/or chilly rain, it's been sunny and warm -- almost hot -- it's been a spring for the record books, literally. The daffodils are out, the trees are blooming early, the grass is green. Everybody is wandering around with totally blissed-out looks on their faces. I don't know if we want this to be permanent, but after a mild winter and now this incredibly spring, everybody is smiling.
I sat out in the sun on my break yesterday, watched happy bees buzzing through the cherry blossoms, happy toddlers and mom's taking a walk in the park, and dogs prancing with their owners down the street.
And everybody was smiling! Including me.
It looks like we have a few more days of this before we go back to something more normal for a while. This has truly been an attack of spring fever -- a good fever.
