Enjoyed my day off today... I have no idea what randomness caused me to have a Sunday off, because I ALWAYS work Friday-Saturday-Sunday-Monday, but I did. we don't live by water though...although there is a creek like 1/2 a mile away

That's exactly what they are! They like damp soil but it doesn't have to be close to water. Cool find!

Maybe my Mom transplanted them from somewhere. That is her little random garden out from. Something that survived that the dog hasn't stomped on.
