from Halloween...

On Halloween morning Me, my mom, Jen, Meghan, and Alex all went to the Yankee Candle Village in Deerfield, Mass. for a little fun and adventure.

The lighting in the whole place was really dark and terrible for pictures so a lot of them didn't come out great, but what can you do.

It was a 2 hour drive down, but we found a lot of ways to entertain ourselves, like picking on Meghan, and making fun of all the town names (like "Baldwinville").

They had a lot of really cool miniature town displays that Jen and I thought were awesome

and, of course, a candy village

They also had a really neat christmas tree lot room where it snowed every 4 minutes. Alex thought it was really cool

A really cool Halloween town miniature

This guy was pretty spooky

This Christmas tree was gigantic!

There was also a really cool room full of cuckoo clocks

Then we went into the medieval castle/nutcracker room

We deemed Meghan and Alex the Queen and King af Bavarian Village

All the crowns were WAY too big for Alex's tiny head

Alex also got to see Santa where he asked for a "General Grievous ship" for Christmas (and Santa was like "huh? what?"

It was a really cool place, and there was a lot of other stuff that we didn't get to see because we were on a time limit. I bought a ton of candles and a sushi set for the dining room. Afterwards I got Eric and we went to my parents house to take my little brothers trick-or-treating. It was funny because it was Me, Eric, my mom, Meghan, jen, Ricky, and jessica (everyone dressed up except for my mom and Jessica) to take my 2 little brothers around the neighborhood. We are such dorks. The kids thought it was great because they had their own huge costumed entourage. After that we all hung out at my parents house and had a little Halloween party with pizza and ghost hunters marathons. My parents always give out full size candy bars so it was fun when we got to split the leftovers.
