Pondering
Why do we at times allow ourselves to slide into such mediocrity?
I feel like I have jumped some hurdles this year, but there are many more which I could have if I had applied myself more. I have not been totally lackadaisical; honestly, sickness has been some major halting to my progress over the last couple of weeks, but I cannot allow that to send my semester into a downward spiral. The Crucible opens next weekend, and I have to be stupendous. It is time for the performer to come out of his shell, take to the stage, and make artistry a reality.
Starting today, I'm going to try to kick it up a notch.
