The German house was complete. All the days and days Ludwig had set to work on it, enslaving, teaming with his brother to help him complete it. It was slow work in these cold winter months but finally a two story house was finished. Within was an immaculate home furnished, painted, stocked... and with a single man remaining inside.
Ludwig was no longer in any kind of mood to do... really anything.
It was frightening the change that had happened in him and the disparity between his new expectations and the actual results.
He wouldn't speak of Italy, though that was the cause of his inner grief. Germany simply sat in silence looking out his office window.
