[Several things in the video caught James' attention. "Hogwarts" was one as was the robes the boy was standing in. A fellow wizard yet to be sorted. It made him smile and he apparated a few feet from him, allowing the *CRACK* to alert him to his presence than anything ordinary.]

[Albus let's out a small yelp and falls back on his bum, not expecting anyone to apparate to him.]

I didn't mean to startle you. I just thought a more wizarding appearance would help you know you're not alone.

You're not a Muggleborn are you? [Thinking he wouldn't be used to apparition if he was.] Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course... [Looks like rambling is a family trait.]

[Al gladly takes his hand and gets up, wrapping his robes around him a big against the chill.]

[This is the bit he hates.] That I don't exactly know. I've been here almsot a year and I haven't found out where it is or how to get home. Sorry.

[Al laughs a little at that.]

I never met him, but my dad named me after him.

[His face falls a little.] But... What about my mum and dad?

[Have a one armed hug.] You're a wizard. And you don't look like a Slytherin. That's good enough for me. Besides, you have a great name. As does your brother. [He grinned.]

He hasn't been headmaster for a long time. He was killed durin' the war.

[Albus relaxes against James and smiles.] My brother kept teasin' me, saying I'll probably get in Slytherin.

[Apparate? Oh god, he's never apparated before. And the nervous, wide-eyed look on his face might be enough to tell James that.]

[And he does realise, hence the walking towards the cafe.]

[Excellent change of subject, right?] He likes to tease me.
