[To say he had a pleasant experience in the catacombs or back "home"? He'd just stab you through the chest and be done with it. No laughter, no monologue, just pure, unadulterated hate for the reminder that no matter what amount of training he had he was still weak. He'd definitely seen better days, the cloth around his waist even more torn than

At the concern, however, he pauses and raises an eyebrow. No sort of recognition at all from him with this face.]
I can take care of myself.
[Seriously, what is wrong with this girl and why is she offering to someone who not only doesn't want her help, but doesn't need it in his own mind.]

I can heal them just fine.
[The black aura in the shadows about him seems to darken slightly, solidify into two floating vials. They hover around him, and a green mist falls over him. Some of it's taken care of, and he continues to watch the carnage his little pets are causing.]
Why do you care?

Vanitas blatantly ignores the first part, too angered by his own failings to be confused right now. And to be quite frank he could care less at the moment. Watching zombies getting smacked with burning chunks of wall is just too beautiful a sight. Yet it ends just as she responds again, and he blinks down at the watch. ..."Not supposed to be able to"? What is that supposed to mean?
He raises an eyebrow.] Another one of those "nobodies", huh.
[He met Vexen. He decided he hated all those freaks in the black hoods that reek of the empty void he was named after. ...Okay, he hates everyone. But it was a different kind of hate.]

The funny thing was he vaguely got along with Marluxia. ...Vaguely, meaning he wouldn't mind using the idiot for some scheme later on in the Game of Life™ or when things grew too dull in this petty city, but that is a story for another time.
Don't think he didn't see that look--or lack thereof--and the stiffening. So someone who detests violence, trying to get him to stop and everything. Yes, that was going to work just swimmingly.]
Less than a nonexistent void?
[What, did they divide by 0 when she was born/created/what have you? Yeah, that's a bit curious, and it's starting to cause his pure outrage to wane for a brief moment while he studies her through the veil of smoke. ...Some of her reminds him of Aqua, but the other... Well. The cruel reality is that, in his mind, a change in allegiance doesn't change who or what someone is. As for the last question, he could care less if the little girl found him or not, because if she were going to be a nuisance? He wouldn't stop from throwing her out to the ( ... )

Whatever. [Coordinates, little girl. Otherwise--
Oh, who is that familiar figure in the background with pink hair? Vanitas hasn't seemed to notice just yet...]

Coordinates have been memorized, and suddenly himself and the watch go airborne before....vanishing completely from view. All of it's black.]
I'm not the one who has to be careful. [Poor, poor zombies, clawing at the dirt and trying to get to him before finding themselves decapitated...]

Then again, he could also hang up as well. Hm...
One golden eye glances at the watch before he shoots out of the ground again, and he doesn't really say much for a moment. Instead he focuses on his fight. Aqua, as much as he loathes admitting it, was right. He really detested the fact that he could more than likely become one of these things if he drops his guard. He likes his brain and abilities, thank you very much.]
... Vanitas. [Let her figure out connections from that; he doesn't care so long as he survives.]
