Indeed they are. They're seeking out anyone unwise enough to explore the city and infecting them through bites.

[He lays out his spoils on his workbench before addressing the other man again.]

I am trying to come up with something to treat those who have been bitten - to stop the infection before they are completely lost.

[He pauses for a moment and then shrugs. What's the harm?]

I am familiar with the art of potion making. I am also familiar with creatures such as those we find invading the city. They're called 'zombies' I think. I was always of the mind that they were the product of someone's foul imagination but the things that tried to make me their supper were very real so...

That would be most useful. We've never heard of zombies in Cohseltel. I don't know if we can help, but if there's anything we can do...

Yes, well, I don't know of them really in my world. They are the things of scary stories and movies in my wor - world.

[He is still reluctant, after all this time, to consider his Muggle heritage as part of his world. However, it was handy in a situation like this.]

Any ways, I've heard some about them and if they're anything like those in the stories they are nothing but mindless killers once the infection takes full hold of them and they feed on the flesh of others.

You can help by not getting yourselves bitten. From what I understand without a cure or potion to control those who are bitten must be destroyed to save the uninfected.
