[The watch is recording a pale gentleman step off the train, wearing a lab coat and glancing around confused. Eyes settle on the watch quickly and he picks it up with practiced caution, no one would notice it though

... Most of the houses are open to be claimed.

They are? Excellent, I'll make myself comfortable until I can return home.

That seems to be what most people are doing, yeah.

[Not that he would know. The streets are much more comfortable..]

... Should probably be careful. Something's going on again. [Just a friendly warning- Of course he doesn't have firsthand experience with the creatures out there himself, considering how he's been staying up high, but from what he's heard...]

Again? So these sort of occurrences are common here?

Yeah.

... Pretty much, anyway.

It must make living here incredibly difficult to bear.

[There's a short pause as he thinks about this-- Or would've been short anyways, if he hadn't had a coughing fit just then, but once he recovers, he clears his throat a little.]

... Not particularly.

[Concerned. So concerned.]

Are you alright?

[He hesitates, as if he's a bit surprised to hear that question... It's odd really, how people seem to actually care when he doesn't sound too well... Certainly makes things more difficult.]

I'm fine. [Of course, his version of 'fine' is 'not coughing up blood'.]

... You should probably worry about yourself first.

Voice;

[swamtofrance]

As a doctor, my concern is with other people as well as myself. Maybe you'd let me take a look once things calm down?

Voice;

[existsnomore]

I've already seen a doctor. [Once. There may be a twinge of annoyance in his voice, only because he's the last person people should be concerned about. Especially when there's nothing really wrong with him.]

... If you haven't already you should probably go somewhere safe. [Changing the subject- Like a boss.]

They don't seem to come up on the roof tops. [Pause.] Probably a good bet if you can climb.

[It's pretty much where he intends to stay during all this.]

[swamtofrance]

[He caught that tone but he's still worried. And he'll let it go. For now. But don't think he'll give up completely.]

I'm relatively good at climbing. Thank you for the advice.

Voice;

[existsnomore]

[There's a moment where it seems like he's about to say something else, but then the transmission is just abruptly ended. Nope. Not going to say anything else.]

[Fine. Be that way. He'll still be worrying.]
