[To greet a newcomer or to not greet a newcomer... Well, he can sympathize with the confusion at least and it's not like he has much else to do, so...]

... Should probably be careful. Something's going on again. [Just a friendly warning- Of course he doesn't have firsthand experience with the creatures out there himself, considering how he's been staying up high, but from what he's heard...]
[There's a short pause as he thinks about this-- Or would've been short anyways, if he hadn't had a coughing fit just then, but once he recovers, he clears his throat a little.]
[He hesitates, as if he's a bit surprised to hear that question... It's odd really, how people seem to actually care when he doesn't sound too well... Certainly makes things more difficult.]
I'm fine. [Of course, his version of 'fine' is 'not coughing up blood'.]
... You should probably worry about yourself first.
I've already seen a doctor. [Once. There may be a twinge of annoyance in his voice, only because he's the last person people should be concerned about. Especially when there's nothing really wrong with him.]
... If you haven't already you should probably go somewhere safe. [Changing the subject- Like a boss.]
They don't seem to come up on the roof tops. [Pause.] Probably a good bet if you can climb.
[It's pretty much where he intends to stay during all this.]
[There's a moment where it seems like he's about to say something else, but then the transmission is just abruptly ended. Nope. Not going to say anything else.]
... Most of the houses are open to be claimed.
