Seventh Weave [Video/Action]

[His eyes remain closed for so long that one might think the watch has caught him asleep. This proves to not be the case as he begins to sing out several sustained notes- Mi - Do - Mi - Re. They sound clearly in the emptiness of the building, driving out the stillness for a few moments ( Read more... )

Nice pipes. What exactly are you trying to do, though?

[Ack, another one. The boy "looks" flatly at the watch once he's found it, sighing.]

Trying to call my Aunts.

May I ask how singing helps you reach them?

I was hoping they'd be Listening since I obviously can't use a phone here. Not that I expect you to understand though.

[A little arrogant, but nothing particularly annoying.]

I suppose not.

[He can be like that at first, unfortunately. He also doesn't want to try explaining things, particularly not over the watches.]

I'm probably just wasting my time trying anyway.

[All perfectly understandable. Dimitri doesn't judge. Harshly.]

At the very least, you'll have a good place to practice your singing. [Incredible acoustics, even over the phone.]

[Kanon smirks, if faintly.]

Hah. True- that's about the only thing to like in here. It's not a very welcoming place.

The cathedral, you mean? [Strange.] Has it fallen into disrepair?

Can't really say since I can't see the details. It has an old smell to it, though, and there's just the faintest scent of blood. Whatever happened here probably wasn't pleasant, even if it was a long time ago.

I don't know how to explain it. It just feels...not right.

[A blind seer? Dimitri could hardly believe it. Two other psychics in the same city.]

I've felt that as well. This city has a painful history to it.

Yeah. I don't know how much that history matters though, since the ones that were linked to it aren't in charge nor present any more.

You'd be surprised. The dead are prone to lingering in places that are important to them, especially if they died violently there.

Hm. Maybe, but in this case I meant more the ones that were responsible for it.

Ah. They...might be lingering around as spirits too, unless they're somehow still alive. Then there's no real telling where they might be hiding.

Being vampires should mean that even though they'd be technically classified as undead, that they have some physical constraints. ...of course, that's based off of popular fictional belief. I've never encountered any real vampires, myself.

...but they're not here anymore. [He hesitates to say anything further on that.]
