[This brightly-feathered bird seems to be--watching. Curiously. Because heck he understands birds and it's not strange to him, but if you see a human that goes and talks to them... It's unusual, okok? And she smells like a normal human in every sense of the word.

Nothing particularly supernatural.

Lin spreads his wings, flutters a bit nearer to perch on a nearby fence. Until that vivid plumage of his is probably well within Tomoe's notice. He's probably staring a bit too directly to seem like any other bird.]

[She straightens a bit, eyes going a bit wider as one of them turns to her with a loud squawk... that came across to her as a very degrading insult to the other crow's mother--]

[--and about now she catches sight of the very... very... colorful... and large bird...]

[That was... watching her.]

[A-ALRIGHT, it it wasn't weird before it's GETTING REALLY WEIRD NOW.]

[Yeah, she's just going to stare back because she really has no idea what the hell is going on right now.]

Lin ruffles up his feathers up slightly, staring some more. And because he wants to make absolutely sure (he's curious, and if it got dangerous he could just fly away, yeah!) he speaks,]

Can you understand those two?

[He spreads out one wing, pointing in a way to the crows.]

[Well... the whole shock of hearing birds talking in the first place has sort of prepared her for this--though this was the first bird that was actually talking to her.]

[So she is still subtly looking at him as if he had two heads. Which. Would actually be less bizarre than him talking but that is beside the point.]

Huh! [He hops from foot to foot.] I never heard of humans that could do that before!

[Waaaatching right back! It is hard to discern expressions from a macaw, but his tone is energetic, at least.]

They're being pretty silly, aren't they? It isn't like there's lots of bread around.

[well then they should get along swimmingly because her face seems to be paralyzed on most days...]

[She looks back down at the crows, just in time to see one just make a mad grab for the bread crust before flying off, the other giving chase.]

[She momentarily glances around... to see if anyone else is seeing (or rather hearing this... or seeing her... hearing... this...)]

[Said as though...he's not a bird...]

[She continues to look very u n s u r e about all of this, tilting her own head just slightly.]
