[Naoki tilts his head at the feed.] What is it? Is there something in there--?

[ With the way the device fell, Aradia is only visible from an odd angle at the very corner of the feed. Naoki's voice doesn't go by unnoticed, but she doesn't pick up the device right away. She does respond, though: ]

Naoki! It's Sollux. He's here but he--

[ A voice across from her interrupts her right then. It sounds tired, upset.

Why didn't you help uth? ]

What? No- no, I did...!

[ Aradia herself sounds outright confused, more so than scared. In fact she looks confused when kneels down to pick up the device, looking from the figure to Naoki and back at the figure. ]

Naoki, I think something is wrong.

[Naoki frowns as he hears that voice. Sollux? A friend of hers?

He looks at Aradia when she gets the communicator in hand, frowning all the more deeply. More than a little worriedly.]

I don't think it's dangerous as much as... Unsettling? [ She arches an eyebrow, looking over at the figure-- it's gone, but she can still hear him.

She stands up and begins moving back, the same way she had come from in the first place. ]

[ Unsettling is generally better than outright dangerous, isn't it?
It's going to take Aradia a while to get out of this place, so don't mind it if she sort of keeps talking. ]

... Thank you. [ She smiles. ] Looking back, I think I wasn't as prepared to explore this place as I thought.

That's true. It's a bit strange not knowing what to expect though; I think I got too used to having guidance.

[ To be fair, this originally felt the same - it just doesn't seem to serve a greater purpose, a greater good. After all this time, she's still wondering if that applies here. But oh- she remembers this hallway, she just needs to take a couple of turns up ahead and she should find the door. Success! ]

I'll be out of here in no time.
