a. in which the residents of the Nightroad Manor (or would it be called Housing?) are in for a rude awakening)
[ Waking up at 5:00 AM on the dot isn't so bad when you can make your own breakfast without occasionally needing the help of anyone (especially if the help comes in the shape of a brat). However, this can only happen in a perfect world, one where Yukimi hasn't lost an arm and doesn't have to go through things without rushing. At the very least, he's learned some degree of dexterity and speed when it comes to cooking, but sometimes he'll be faced with hot, overflowing pots that burn his only set of fingers. ]

Fuck! Shit! [ Moving it should be considered a safety hazard, but Yukimi's main concern is how terrible messes are and how he loathes cleaning them. Lifting it only helps to discomfort and burn him yet again, thus causing him to finally drop the pot and spill hot water and limp, half-cooked noodles all over the floor. ]

b. in which it just about a week later and Yukimi wants to bail because these conditions are incredibly silly.
So, OK, I gather there's a lot of you who already know everything there is to know about this city; you know, other than nothing ever seems to happen and people just appear out of nowhere. [ well, not exactly, but you know what he means ] There's no newspapers, no cellphones, and no computers, so communicating's really a pain.

Jeez, not even a small town back in my place could be this isolated.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that we must--that's right, we have to, we need to--at the very least attempt to find a way to make our network much less restrictive than it is. Sure, we've got videos and audio -- I'm sure I've seen some texts flying about -- but it's hard to manage and it's not very intuitive, least of all accessible for the sheltered or disabled. [ no he's not saying this because it is so hard to turn those dials what are you talking about. ]

If you're interested, give me a call or whatever. The name's Yukimi, if you were wonderin'.
