Kaoru 5 [Action, Audio, Accidental Video?]
[This is not the usual polished-and-put-together Kaoru that you know and love - nearly two months in the catacombs will do that to a person. His hair's grown longer than usual, his clothes are spattered and in some places saturated with red from slipping into the river a few too many times. And he's limping. He twisted his ankle somewhere along the way and it hurts like hell.
He's a pampered rich kid who doesn't know how to survive without his home comforts/technology.
At least it's dark, so people can't see how rubbish he actually looks. He's thoroughly exhausted and once he's set his clothes on fire disposed of his clothes and showered until he's squeaky clean, he just wants to collapse into bed.
Belatedly, he realises that the pocket watch around his neck probably works again. He clicks it on, his voice cracking a bit from disuse]
...so I'm back.
[A hesitation]
