[Dulce, the City/forest's newest resident, regards this with total lack of amusement. He has no issues with humans or animals using plants for things they need, but this seems so pointless and destructive.

He'll just step from his hiding place and run a hand over what is left of the tree trunk.]

This tree took years to grow, and yet you destroyed it so readily.

[Okay, that's not normal. Masamune watches Dulce carefully, but he doesn't make any other moves.]

Not like I was going to let it go to waste. The weather's probably going to turn soon.
