[It's been a long, hungry, violent week for 02, and fairly sleepless-- She's spent most of her time since being returned to her home either asleep or in the kitchen. Periodically, both. Now that she's back in fighting form, though, she's all business once again.
Her video shows her seated at a low table, surrounded by books and the sundry rags and tools necessary for weapon maintenance, a task which she's clearly about to begin when she initiates the feed. First things first, her pistol needs to be cleaned and oiled after a week of being neglected while she was... doing whatever it was that their captors had been aiming for. But there's no reason she can't multitask. Reaching for her pistol, she begins to dismantle it while she speaks.]
Well, I've done some reading... From what I can tell, none of the flora or fauna in that jungle were supposed to exist anymore--At least not in the time I was taken from. I can't speak for the rest of you, of course--or even at the same time as one another. Several of the creatures were from entirely different time periods, massively different ones in fact. I'm not sure if this means that our captors were simply toying with us again, which isn't unlikely, or if their grip on the control of such disciplines is weakening. Either way, it can't hurt to be on our toes now just as much as ever.
That being said, did everybody make it through all right? I know it wasn't the easiest change in setting for some of us to adapt to.
...On a more positive note, I got to learn what dinosaur tastes like. At least it proved to be a learning experience, if nothing else. How did the rest of you make do?
