[Currently, there's a small redheaded swordsman standing curiously at the river's edge. His sleeves are rolled up, fastened back in a traditional manner, with a wooden bucket filled with assorted laundry. Apparently, like usual he's been charged with doing the laundry -- both his and Sanosuke's at least.
...but why is the river red? That's something the swordsman is pretty sure isn't normal, all poetic allusions to red rivers during wartime aside. He flips open his pocket watch -- which he's made a point to keep on his person ever since the incident with Hinamori- and flips it open. The video feed starts with the rurouni's smiling but somewhat concerned face centered on screen.]
...This one is curious about the river. Is it normally this way? [oh and as an offhand.] It's getting to be dinner time. [A pause] If anyone decides to offer food to a man named Sanosuke, you might want to keep in mind that you'll continue feeding him.
