[Action/Video]

[Being that Lukas has the attention span of a small hyperactive terrier, it's time to both forget everything that just happened (that's always the best way to recover from trauma, right?), and move on to his next project of the day - learning to play the drums.

He manages to snag himself a drum kit, and sets it up in the house next door to the coffee shop. Lukas had a brief stint as roadie back in the '70s while on Earth, so he mostly remembers how to put it together. The only problem? He doesn't know how to play. But that never stops Lukas. Confidence will get you far, and he knows he can learn it. Luckily, while he's not good at most things, Lukas has a good sense of rhythm. He doesn't have any sheet music, which is okay as he can't read it anyway. So to practice, he's just going to starting hitting them. A lot. Over and over. Once he gets the feel for it, more rhythmic sounds start coming from the house. Feel free to stop in and see what's going on/make fun of him/etc.!

After several hours - and maybe only one or two distractions - Lukas decides to do a video call. He sets up the communicator on the ground, pointing up at him on the drums from across the room. His suitcoat is off, the sleeves of his loud dress shirt rolled up. He holds up the sticks triumphantly to the camera.]

Okay, here we go! ONE TWO THREE FOUR!

[And the he proceeds to play, as best he can from memory and ever so methodically, Led Zepplin's "Kashmir". Though you might only be able to tell if you know the song very well, or listen to Lukas's humming of the tune as he continues to play. When done, he looks back to the camera, flicking his hair out of his eyes.]

So, Ruby City? What do you think? Not bad for a day's work, if I do say so myself!
