 [Prussia's lying back on a nice clean clinic bed with enough bandaging to cover the better part of a mummy. He looks like he's sleeping and stirrs every so often and murmuring about changing doses of sedatives can be heard muttered in the background.  But he's content with his life for now; must be very good drugs to keep him from being in too

[Canada is bringing cookies. Just because pancakes are hard to eat in bed and he can't think of anything else to do, so the young nation, looking perpetually guilty, pulls over a chair at some point to sit next to Prussia's bedside.]

[Takes Prussia a moment to notice he's there, or if anyone is there because he's so hopped up on drugs. But when he does he gives him a smile.]

Hey Mattie, how long have I been asleep?

Long enough. [He gives a fleeting, pained smile in return.]

But how are you feeling, Sleeping Beauty?

Like I was hit by a freight train, but better now that you're here.

I'm glad to hear that. And I, umm, brought you cookies, if you think you're well enough to eat them.

Matt, I love you, so much. You're the best.

[Lifts his one arm that isn't in a sling to motion for Matt to give him a hug. He can take it despite his injuries.]

[Setting the cookies on the mobile tray next to Prussia's bed, he stands and steps closer. He bends over to give the old empire an awkward, gentle hug, and press a kiss to his forehead.]

[The hug made him smile and the kiss just brightened it] Thanks Mattie.

You're welcome, Gilbert. [He sighs, nuzzling his lips against Prussia's forehead and hair for a moment before pulling back, but not sitting down again, staying close instead.]

[He smiles and shifts over so that Matt has a bit of room if he wishes to sit on the edge of the bed instead of standing.]

[But Canada stays standing, looking Prussia over.]

Has Christine said how long she expects it to take before you're healed?

She said I'd be up by the end of Wednesday but to take it easy for at least a week after that. Plus I have to check in, blah de blah. It's the same routine with doctors everywhere Matt. I should be one hundred percent by Monday or Tuesday.
