[Since Ki-no, since the thing crawled out of her bedroom mirror, Sui's been trying to avoid it, trying to hide from it. Except it has her cornered now, in the living room of the space she's been sharing with Elraine and the others. And although her hands are shaking and her eyes are shimmering with tears, when anything backs Sui into a corner, she has to fight her way out. It's the only thing she knows how to do. At least that's how it feels right now.
As she pulls her hoop from its spot on her back, she knocks her communicator loose. As it hits the ground, it pops open and starts recording.]

[Sui speaks through gritted teeth, holding Avis up like a clear shield between her and the teenage boy approaching her. He looks a gruesome sight, something straight out of a horror scene, but his bright yellow hair, matted with blood and who knows what else, should make him instantly recognizable to at least two others in the city.]
