[The comm is facing upward, so that all the viewer can see is the expanse of the ceiling of Jan's apartment. Anyone that notices that watch is transmitting will be subjected to the sound of Jan shouting at someone. The other voice is female and, strangely, sounds similar enough to Janice that the speaker could be her sister, if Jan had a sister, or Janice herself...]
Why do you keep fighting this? [The tone has a mocking sing-song quality that may cause a shiver to run down the listener's spine.] You learned Vale's lessons so well. You were finally beginning to understand, and now you act like this! Don't you remember? Nothing you do here will matter. You will always fail, no matter how much you try. What I do here matters! I helped Conan! And I didn't give in! I wouldn't have...
You're going to fail, Janny. And when you finally do, then what will you be? Broken and bloody and completely mad just like me. Giving into those urges you pretend so hard that you don't have. [A sly, quiet pause.] Unless you already are mad.
[There's a sound of a struggle, cries of pain followed by high pitched, mocking laughter.] Not so brave now, are you? Maybe you think your big, strong Marine will save you? He won't. He'll be too late and if he's not...then he'll be someone else for me to play. Then I'll visit Conan and Ran and...
[The threat is cut off by the sound of fighting followed by a choked, hoarse scream. Eventually, there's a tense silence that is finally broken by the sound of panting. A bloodstained hand reaches out to snap the watch shut, ending the transmission.]
(Post shows Jan confronting her fear and contains possible triggers so it's kept under a cut.)
