[He doesn't like this at all. His usual sense of confidence has been pushed to its limits, and the happenings within the city couldn't have come at a worse time.
The boy and ex-general races down the street, throwing glances over his shoulder, half telling himself he's just keeping an eye out for people that might need help, but well aware that he's trying to avoid something that's felt like its haunted his every step within the past couple of days. A glimpse here, a whisper there-- surely he's just been dreaming it!]
-all right then, where are you?!
[His watch has been bouncing off his thigh, giving a dizzying view of the street and the surrounding buildings, along with the slapping of his sandals against the pavement. The stilted images turn into one big blur as the boy suddenly spins around, metal ringing as he brandishes both his swords.]
There!! -?!?!
[The gasp that almost immediately follows his shout is almost lost entirely by the clash of metal. The watch swings around at the perfect angle to capture those swords as they are intercepted- by a
being in white-trimmed gold with a headdress that also masks the upper portion of his face.
He emerges from the large display window of the store Sieg stands before, and the boy himself stares in disbelief, stepping back as he fights to maintain his defensive posture.]
-what the...?! But you can't be-
[The figure steps out completely, matching Sieg's pace as he keeps his scepter-staff locked against the boy's weapons. And then he smirks, slowly, and the words that come from his mouth sound oddly familiar...if only because it could have well been from the boy that stands before him.]
But you could have been....
[Sieg's eyes widen, and he almost falters at that, but in the moment that he seems to give, he desperately swings at the
figure in white with a panicked shout.]
