[Anyone in the big house in the woods has probably already been fed -- or at least offered -- pancakes today. Unable to sleep, Canada's been occupying the kitchen since before sun-up, a perpetually gloomy expression on his face when he's sure no one's watching, polite smiles whenever anyone shows up. His bear is sitting under the table and waiting to mooch a snack every half-hour or so.

Around noon, he realizes everyone in the house has been fed and he still has a kitchen full of pancakes. Pulling out his watch, he flicks on the video function.]
