[When the feed comes on, a small blonde haired boy comes into frame. His hair is an utter mess and his face is dirty and his eyes have lost their normal glow. A small whimper sounds over the transceiver as he tries to steady his hand as he holds onto the device.]

Hey...Hey guys...it's Teddie. I...ummm....

[He takes in a deep breath and tries to ( Read more... )

[The one thing Vash has an utter soft spot for: children. And he can't stand to see them in discomfort or pain. Though he doesn't smile, his expression over the feed is open and gentle, his tone soft.]

Hey, kid. Do you need help?

Yeah, it is.

[A shadow flickers across Vash's features as he remembers his own recent encounter with those horrible tunnels.]

Where are you now? Safely out?

[He can't help but worry; the little boy is obviously shaken and still more than a little scared.]

...Yeah I am. I got out. I...where...

[Once again he hears a strange whisper in his ear and he turns around, but no one is present.]

Where is Francis and Aqua...I'm...staying...with them.

[Vash frowns; he hasn't met an "Aqua" and he has no idea where France is.]

...I don't know... But would you like me to come help you look for them?

[That flinching... Vash gives a soft, reassuring smile to the boy, all the while reminding himself to give the Watcher and Interloper a good kick for dragging children into this mess, should he ever actually meet them. Cowards.]

[Children he is not. In fact this boy was in his teens...well tech. he had no age. He remembered his birth but not when it took place. He was certainly high school age though. Regardless he gives a small nod...but then shakes his head, then nods again.]

Ummm...I...sure. I guess...wait no. I...ummm.

[What Vash doesn't know won't hurt him... at least, not immediately. All he sees is someone afraid and in need... and after his own recent run-in with the catacombs, he can understand that feeling all too well.]

You don't have to say yes, of course. But if you just got out of the catacombs... I can understand if you're still a little scared. I just thought it might be less frightening if you weren't alone.

[He gives the fainest of smiles]

[Teddie smiles back, it is nervous and uneasy, but a smile nonetheless.]

...It would be less frightening you have a point there.

Alright. I think I know where you are... Do you mind if I come and help you?

[Curse his big brother instincts, but still...]

[It isn't more than five minutes later that Teddie should be able to see Vash approaching; while he may look scary because of all the weapons on his person, both obvious and concealed, his expression is one of gentle worry and his body language is very relaxed. He presents no threat, save to anything that may be after the smaller blonde.]

Hello. I'm afraid I didn't introduce myself before. I am Switzerland, though most people here call me Vash.

[His tone is reassuring as well, even as his eyes flicker from shadow to shadow, alert with a paranoia honed to a near sixth sense over the centuries.]

[Vash blinks a few times, then gives a small smile. Odd how the other avoided his question; he'll let it slip for now.] Yes, I do. He's very polite, very indirect, and a little frustrating sometimes.

I would love to meet him. I live in Japan! Well...I technically live in the TV world, but my friends are from Japan.
