{{what is this? This is Kyouya calmly sitting at a table drinking a cup of tea. He's settled... pretty quickly. After taking a sip, he starts to speak-}}

I've found housing and food, obviously. And yes, to those interested, I've managed to find suitable clothes.

{{adjusts his glasses}} My question is about the river - quite simply, does anyone ( Read more... )

There's no issues with finding a business, just claim a shop the same way you claimed a home. You're more than welcome to set up near me, there's some lovely shops here~.

Don't expect many customers, though~.

Ah, I see. Thank you very much. It's not a priority of mine, but perhaps someday in the future, I might look to set up shop, if only to amuse myself.

Mm, it's good for that, most definitely, alleviating boredom. Little else.

WATCH ME REALLY OBVIOUSLY AVOID THAT OTHER THREAD UNTIL I FIGURE THIS OUT. ;A; xD ko1122 May 30 2011, 21:27:30 UTC
Mm-hmm. And running a business would sharpen... skills that would otherwise diminish over time.

Mm. ...You sound like a member of the aristocracy... [[Says one to another.]]

{{ponders, then nods}} I guess you could put it that way. I'm the son of an elite businessman - owner of one of the richest zaibatsus in Japan.

{{sips his tea}} We don't exactly have an aristocracy anymore.

A shame~. But there aren't many of us from the upper class here, it's good to meet someone who isn't...disgustingly coarse.

{{smirks to himself}} Are there many commoners here then? That'll excite a friend of mine...

It's faster to count those of us. Myself, yourself, and two of my roommates.

[[That isn't even accurate but Theta doesn't realise that, so it's spoken with the same confidence as everything else.]]

The rest are lower class.

You leave out a friend of mine. With him, we make five. Not a bad number, hmm?

You have a friend here? You're lucky. I suppose we're not a bad number, no. We should stick together, I think.

Ah. Yes. It was quite a bit of luck. Unfortunately, things were quite hectic back home... A few of our friends are in danger, and it's a bit irritating that we're unable to help them.

{{sips his tea, musing}} That includes his twin brother. My friend's brother was apparently in a great deal of trouble when we came here. I'm not sure how he's faring.

{{ponders}} We should all meet. Who are these roommates of yours?

Our captors don't have the greatest sense of timing, do they? [[Complete sarcasm.]]

My roommates are English gentlemen. You're more than welcome to come over for tea. I'll try to get them to cooperate and meet you as well. Catching them is a task and a half sometimes.

{{equally dry}} No, not at all.

Tea. The one thing that connects the Japanese and the British culturally. It would be very nice to meet your friends - I'm sure we could have some intelligent conversation.

My shop is ill-equipped for such a meeting, sadly. It's just bedrooms, necessities, and the shop floor and workshop. I believe there's a teahouse in town, actually, unless you'd rather we all head for your home?

{{thinks about this, then shrugs}} I wouldn't mind. The house is big enough.
