Ah...

[He's not seen very many creatures around the city, so this assortment definitely catches his attention. The young mage peers curiously, taking a few steps closer.]



[He's not alone though. His dark dragonling doesn't think it's the greatest idea to go wandering so close, Maciel. He grabs a hold of the mage's robes.]

[Nostrils flare as the orange dragon notices the approach-ers first. Given he is the most cocky of the 6 pokemon. He spread out his wings in a prideful display and gave a bellowing scoff from within his throat. It was his way of saying hello.]

[Completely misunderstanding Naata's intentions, Maciel stoops down to pick up the dragonling before glancing back towards the big orange creature.]

O-oh my. [He smiles awkwardly.] Hello there...



[Naata sighs.]

[He snorts, a small amount of steam jetting from it's nostrils. It gave a simple roar as a greeting and stepped closer. It bows its head to be closer to the other. The dragon's head a few inches away from the other now.]

....yes. I know. I was only sitting next to you that night, eating pizza. XD;;;;

[Both tense at that display, but Maciel seems a little more trusting of the creature's approach than the child does. He even goes so far as to reach out a hand.]

Did you all come together? [He indicates with a glance as to whom he refers to.]

[It gives a nod of it's head and edges the top of it's head into the palm of his hand. Please he lets out a small hum, that echoes though his body and vibrates thought the ground a bit.]

Ah, that's good. -er, well not good that you're all stuck in this city too, but at least you aren't all alone.

[He blinks as the Pokemon lets him pet it, breaking into a smile.]

See Naata? He's friendly.

[The pokemon lowers his head to stare at eye level with the dragonling. Nostrils flare as it takes in the scent. A small grumble sounds from the back of its throat and lets out a bellowing roar as a hello.]

[Oh you best watch yourself, Charizard. Naata eyes him, clinging protectively to Maciel. This one's his.]

Eheheh... N-now Naata, I think he's just trying to be nice.

[The beast snorts and rolls his eyes ad if understanding the dragonling. He slams his tail to the ground and turns around. He throws his head back and send a blast of fire into the air, in a showing off display. As the fire dissipates, the pokemon turns his head around and eyes the dragonling giving a small smile, 'How's that? Pretty impressive no?' he seemed to voice.]

[The dragonling doesn't look all that impressed, actually. Maciel nearly jumps at the display, however.]

Oh my!

[Naata snorts.]
~I dare you to try that again.~

N-Naata...

[The beast snorts, and greatly accepts the challenge. It turns back around and fires another blast of fire into the air. The action is followed by a loud roar.]

[Maciel yelps as Charizard belts out another breath of fire, but he's already figured Naata's intentions. He can sense the dark dragon magic being called to use.]



[Naata looks calmly up at the fire, and all at once the flames snuff out in midair.]

[Charizard roars in protest and stomps his feet up and down. His claws become fists. He did not want his fire to be put out!

By this point Red has hoped down from Saur and began to walk over to the distressed Charizard.]

[Naata just rolls his eyes. Wow, it's throwing a tantrum?]

Naata, was that really necessary. Ah-

[He looks up and glances towards the boy.]

I'm sorry, we didn't mean to upset him!

[The boy inquires as he places a calming hand on the beats shoulder.

At his trainer's touch the Charizard hums slightly and gives a smile.]
