Ah. These devices are rather fond of broadcasting accidentally, be aware of that. This machine is the Ruby City communicator, everyone has one. And the network is how it's referred to when you use them--you can message someone privately or post it publicly 'on the network' for all to see.

Accidentally...how? Don't you have to press the buttons?

I see...how do you message someone privately?

And how do I access this...'network'?

Bumping it wrong can press the buttons by accident, though some peoples have turned on randomly... I couldn't really say all the things that set it off. Just be careful.

Private messaging, just go to post and you'll see "to:", and you can fill that in to make it private.

The network is the main function, so it just comes up when you use it.
