[At first, the video shows the roof of the trainstation, though loud, long strides carry long strands of silver hair into view before the watch is picked up. Hello, Ruby City. Do you remember Squalo? He remembers you. One of the reasons why he's currently glaring bloody murder at the recording device.]
Voooooooi I don't have time for this shit

[Sorry, Squalo. A pissy teenager glowering at you is probably not the welcome you were hoping for]

... oh, would you? Well you're shit out of luck in that case! Sorry to say [he doesn't sound sorry in the least] I'm going to raise my voice whenever the fuck I feel like it. You've got the option of not tuning in.

And for the record, even if the lid had not snapped off a few weeks ago, you are not the only person on the network. I could have had it open so that I could communicate with my matesprit. Or maybe Johanna was singing again earlier, and I had it open so that I could listen. It is called being considerate, and it is one of the few things that separates people from cretins.

So if that lid snapped off, why didn't you fix that? Or have it fixed?
[It's also clear that he's... not really caring who he's talking to, or about the conversation as a whole, while he looks around and surveys his surroundings.]

Because it would have only snapped off again. Fortuitously, the lens repairs itself, or I do not think I would have one anymore.
[But if Squalo wasn't going to pay attention to him, he wasn't going to either. Flicking hair from his face, he grabs the circuit board he'd been working on and his soldering iron]

Too much strength for your own good, huh?

It is a blessing and curse, but I have long learned to manage. My STRENGTH is a point of pride when it is not a source of frustration.

So it's not possible to make something sturdy enough to withstand it?

Oh, of course I can. My hive and many of my belongings were properly reinforced back on Alternia. I do not know if you can see behind me, but the walls of this building have been covered by metal sheets that have been hardened as much as possible. However, the technology here is vastly beneath what I am used to handling. I have been working to restore my old workroom, but progress is slow. There are only so many hours in a night, and I do like to socialize for a fraction of it.
[He points the soldering iron at the watch] Thus, the reason this was left on.

How long've you been here then?

Would it be audacious of me to assume that you did not chose to leave, and were merely transported away?
