If you may stopped shouting long enough to ask questions or listens to answers, you might have known that, since it was hardly a secret.

[It's said in such a quick, bitter undertone that there's no way England could discern it all. But Canada has to say it anyway, because HELL NO, he is not getting blamed for this. It's bad enough he has to have both Alfred and Arthur messing up his peaceful little existence in this city. He's not taking any more drama than necessary.

But he will apologize anyway, despite it not being his fault.]

Sorry.

[moving right past the apologies here - and silly him. Seems that was just too hard to hear over the communicator.]

So is he?! And if he is, I would have liked the information! I might have at least tried TALKING with him, seeing what was going on! I only just got the hint from a message THETA had to bring me from NORWAY!

Yes. Sorry.

[He will not take this anger personally. He will not take this anger personally. He will not take this anger personally. He will not take this anger personally. He will not take this anger personally. He will not take this anger personally. He will not take this anger personally.]

... fine. Thank you. I should... I should try sending a message as soon as possible, seeing if he responds.

[That look on his face could be mistaken for hurt. Also, personally insulted. Wouldn't that be the idiot's priority to bother him if he was here? Ah, of course not. Alfred has much more IMPORTANT things to do.]

[... that inner monologue may or may not have portrayed itself as a long, awkward silence before ending the message in sudden realization...]

[Canada lets out a breath, then, as the feed ends. That went better than expected.]
