[[Theta is sitting at her chair in her shop, the clocks and clockworks around her all ticking along merrily. She smiles at the camera, though someone well versed in noting details about a person might notice that it's just a bit forced and stressed

I'm sorry I took so long to rejoin you. I simply had to... clear things up... clear my head. But I wanted to check on the progress of our couple arrangements...
[He's referring to the room, yes - but mostly his own requested treat~]

Mr. Kirkland! I'm glad to see you again. Yes, Grell took care of the door for us, so everything's in order. Fetch-It, mind the store.
[[The little watch salutes and sits on the edge of the counter, facing the door so it can greet customers as they come in, while Theta turns and heads for the back workshop.]]
Come on, I'll show you to your room, and then I've got scones and jam and cream in the kitchen~. Fetch-It even surprised me...he can't talk, as you've seen, and yet he managed to ask someone for help and brought back several jars full.
[[In the back room, there's a set of stairs, leading up to the flat above, and she starts limping up them, still shy of putting her full weight on her false leg.]]

That's wonderful! I'll have the little chap show me the way to where he got it, then... restock when I need to.
[at seeing her struggle, he does at least politely offer his arm.]
Would you like some assistance...?

Yes, I meant to ask him to tell me where he got it, but I've been otherwise occupied. I'm still working on an order for ShinRa, my line of assistants, not to mention making a cooking clockwork. I...can hardly cook at all, so it's mostly things that can be reheated here. [[And even those she frequently burns.]]

[Erk. He shouldn't have offered that. He's a terrible cook and he knows it. He's almost certain his cooking would offend...]
... anything else you might need, as well. I'd be more than happy to keep my worth in living here - running errands, or at least accompanying you in assistance.

Errands would be lovely, especially as I intend to get plenty of dresses for Grell. Have you had a chance to speak with her yet~?

But yes, get settled, that's the first priority.
[[Once at the top of the stairs, she leads him through a doorless doorframe into the shop next door, which has been cut through the dividing wall with a chainsaw. Of course, Theta has taken the time to put up some edging, and it's not visible that that's how it was done aside from excess dust on the floor around where it had happened.]]
This room will be yours, next door on this side is Gamzee, and on the other is Grell. There's two beds in your room, so if someone important to you needs lodgings, there's room. Of course, as you can see I do take an interest in helping out those who need it, so if someone important comes and you're still by yourself, I may have to ask you to double up. I'll save that for someone who truly needs it, though... [[It looks like she has someone in mind that she would invite to stay with her if they turn up.]]

Arthur, then. Unless you'd prefer I called you England? I don't mind either way.
Ah, speaking of countries. Norway is here, and wanted to get in touch with you, and also to know if you've seen America. Not that I know why you'd give much attention to an upstart country of idiots...

A-Alfred?! Is he here? Did he say anything about him?! [It's a wonder he doesn't grab her with the demanding his voice - and he looks the most troubled/intrigued he has been since arriving here.]

... b-but regardless... if Alfred is here...! I do need to get in contact with Norway... with Alfred too...
[He's alreasdy walking into his room, flustered, looking to his watch.]
Thank you, Theta, for passing on the message...
