Does it hurt?

[A voice comes over the feed after a few beats, sounding tired and hoarse, because this is coming from Axel who has been constantly fighting and running and other such things for the past few days. It hurt. First there was the shocking pain of nothing, then right as you get used to it, it's dragged away from you, and after the soothing numbness all the emotions grate and grind on the inside of your brain, until you feel like you're going to go insane from the sheer power of it.

And then you grow used to it, and can face the world again.
