The piles of paperwork were, for the time being, removed so she could present herself to the city in her new role. Her posture looks stiff, as if sitting at the desk was a little uncomfortable, and she clears her throat before speaking.]
Good morning Residents of Ruby City. Let me introduce myself for those of you who I have not yet met. My name is Elena and I have worked alongside Rufus ShinRa before and after arriving to the city. Now, as some of you may be aware, President ShinRa has returned to his home and is no longer in the city.
However, just because he is no longer here does not mean that the work he has done will be ignored. Moving forward, I, will be continuing the projects that he has started. The fight against the Interloper and the Watcher shall continue, as will the research being done to find a way to send all residents back to where they came from.
If there are those who wish to help in the fight, do not hesitate to contact me at this number.

Elena looks more relaxed, brushing fingers through her hair before talking.] First and foremost, I wanted to thank you all for your service and dedication to Rufus ShinRa. You have been an asset to our fight against the Interloper and the Watcher, as well as in our work to find ways to return people to their homes.
As you saw in my previous announcement, I will be continuing where Rufus left off in regards to all projects and plans, as well as the protection and security of the building. You are all more than welcome to stay in the ShinRa Apartments, and I would be very thankful if you chose to continue to helping me in this endeavor. But don't feel that you are obliged to do so. You made your allegances to Rufus, not to me. So if you choose to go, you will get no resistance from me. But if you choose to stay, I will be coming by to meet with you all individually to learn what projects Rufus had you working on and obtain a status update so that we can move forward.
