[The feed flickers on and the first thing that you'll see is a kitten pawing and mewing curiously at the watch. Axel's left it on the side table, see, and she's somehow hopped on up and decided to check it out. She bats at the watch once which turns the screen and focuses on Axel who is seated on a couch in the apartment...and holding a white rose in between two fingers. He'd been planning that party for Lenalee for a couple of days now and he'd been going over the decorations with some other people, but somewhere along the way he just...had to stop and wonder what the hell he's been doing.]

[He examines the petals for a few more seconds before suddenly the flower catches on fire starting from the base of the stem all the way to the flower itself. Blackened and charred, the rose bends into itself before crumbling into ashes on the floor.]
...C'mere, you. [He calls over to the kitten which turns and bounds over to settle on his lap.]

[She meows in response and paws at the chains hanging from his coat. Hm. Cute. He'd be more amused if only he weren't weighed down with so many thoughts lately. ...People leaving, people showing up when they shouldn't--It's driving him crazy.]
