Attention all mechanically inclined citizens of Ruby City. I'm Hoban Washburne, simply called Wash by my friends. Before getting impaled and waking up here, I was the pilot of a Firefly class transport ship called Serenity. I've been here a couple weeks now, and I really, really miss the sky.
But I didn't come second in my class for nothing, so instead of moping around, complaining about my problems, I've been throwing around designs for a personal flier. I figure, if I start small, work out the kinks, I'll eventually be able to build up to a space shuttle. Or maybe even a small ship! Or a big one, who knows, maybe I'll find the way out of this place, haha!
But in all seriousness, if you know anything about machines or flying, I'd really, truly appreciate your help. I'm no engineer - I know enough about the basics to keep a ship flying in an emergency, so there are bound to be several design flaws. I've attached a couple schematics for the flier I think will be the most successful, so if you see any mistakes, please, please let me. But really, at this point, I'm just looking for parts, so if you can point me in the direction of a scrap yard, or even a sheet metal shop or something of that nature, I'd be extremely grateful. I swear, I'll find a way to pay you back for any help you provide.

Edit: Conan-kun asked me to let people know about the Census list Sieg's putting together. I think it's a great idea! :D I have a hard enough time keeping track of my own crew, and with a whole city full of people coming and going, you never know if someone important to you is going to disappear.
