[So at this point in time, Gilbert has realized that expecting anyone to recognize him by voice while he's much younger than he should be isn't going to happen. And well, even with the additional video, well, that helps a little. So he's eying the video feed warily. Housemates and guests? He's in the kitchen at the table, a forgotten cup of tea

[Well, that was certainly an interesting reaction. Naminé blinks, looking a bit concerned. Also, despite being so small right now and taking up most of the camera space with how she's holding it, there's a certain blond haired tail moving in and out of the feed.]

[When he pops up into the view of the video feed again, he's more than a little embarrassed looking.] Ah... hi Naminé.

[Forgive her, Gil, but she will actually start giggling a little when she sees your face. She doesn't mean to; call it the little girl in her that's making her do it. And that tail is still going in and out of the feed.]

[He considers pouting at it, and half does, but well, it won't last very long at all. Besides, he's a little distracted watching something moving on her screen.] Yeah, I'm all right. Just a little embarrassed. [Pause.] Hey, what's moving behind you?

[Just be happy that it didn't last too long. She's kind of starting to find herself strangely comfortable with this... younger mindset. Or maybe it was just the magic making her feel that way. Her voice was still a lot softer and quieter than normal though.] Something scare you?

Mmm? [Looks around her and stares at something beside her.] Oh, Axel... brought a kitten home a little while ago. [And as if on cue, there's a light mewing from the background.]

[Yeah, Gilbert's caught up in that himself, and he finds it confusing when he tries to think about it. He sort of blushes at the question though.] Ah well, kind of. I mean, it was the--

[Pause. Blink. Stares at the kitten on the screen, making a wide-eyed little face.] --one of those!

[Blink, blink. Kitty, how did you get into the feed here? Naminé tries to wrap her hands around it to move it closer, possibly into her lap, though it's a rather awkward motion to watch considering the size of those very hands.]

A kitty? Do you have one?

[Really it's most horrifying to watch because Naminé is so little and cats are monsters. Gilbert frets for her well-being. Though, ok, he realizes he's a little ridiculous. He just can't help it. At the question, he nods a bit.] It wouldn't get out of my apartment. So I fed it so it wouldn't eat me. And well, it lives here in the house now. [Being a terrifying sneaky little creature.] its name is Nightmare.

[Just... stares, a mix of dumbfounded and confused. Gilbert, you have funny logic, has anyone told you that?]

Why would it... eat you? [Granted, she doesn't know much about pets and cats herself, but, still. She knew that they didn't eat people.]

[His logic is sound and exceptionally logical. Really. He looks at her wide-eyed, and maybe just a bit confused. Isn't it obvious why it'd eat him?] Because it's a cat. And they're terrifying.

[Yeaaaaaaah, NO. It's really, really not Gilbert. And she'll prove it too you by looking at the kitten in her lap for a quiet minute, and then running her little fingers through it's fur. Petting it, rubbing it, messing it up a little. Apparently this kitten is child proof or something, or maybe Naminé's just got gentle little fingers.

Hear the purr Gilbert. Hear it going a mile a minute with a content look on it's face.]

...It's not scary.

[Gilbert's eyes go as wide as saucers and he just stares.] Ah! D-don't! It'll.... [Oh god it's going to eat you, Naminé. And who will save you? You're so small and oh god.]

It's... y-yes it... [And here he's just going to plain flail. Flail flail flail. Aaaah.]

[Well she certainly can't count on you now. She kind of notices the flailing in his voice and takes one more look down at the kitten before slipping her hands underneath it and picking it off her lap all awkwardly again. The little cat just kind of shakes itself and trots in front of the watch and off somewhere else. Probably to annoy Axel for food.

Meanwhile, Naminé just kind of frowns into the feed. She is not impressed Gil.] Don't you take care of yours?

[A blink at that. Oh, ok it's gone and no one died. Phew. He looks at her confused though.] Ah... of course. [So it won't get angry at him.] I make sure Nightmare stays happy. [...except he does, admittedly, shoo him out of his room before he can sleep peacefully though.] B-besides, Ada really likes cats.

...But you're not happy with having it. [If his reaction to her merely petting the kitten was anything of an example. But still frowning, sad that you have this irrational fear over something so harmless.]

He really scares me. B-but, Naoki says that maybe if I spend time with Nightmare, then I won't be as afraid. It's... kind of working. As long as he doesn't sneak up on me, it's not so bad. [A pause.] He purrs a lot. That's supposed to be good, right? [Aaah why are cats so scary Gil tries so hard.]
